This is a video of one tune during the Thursday, June 24, 2010, evening pickup jam session at Angelica's Bistro in Redwood City, CA. Taken with an iPhone, sorry for the shake. I'll get the names of the performers ASAP and put them up here.
Saturday July 24th I enjoyed a performance by E.C. Scott at Angelica's Bistro on Main St. She was truly an amazing performer and I had a really good time. She made the evening enjoyable not only because her band was professional and tight, and not only because her timing and singing were right on, but she had a twinkle in her eye the whole time.
The part where she got down from the stage during "My Sweet Man" and asked each man in the audience if they would like her to kiss different body parts was hysterical and not the least bit smutty. There was also a Karaoke part where members of the audience were invited up to sing with her in "Stand By Me" - and surprisingly they did! And what voices they had too! Some really good voices got up and sang with Ms Scott and she was gracious, amusing and entertaining as she encouraged them to continue.
Overall a great experience and one I would definitely repeat.
